いっぽうてき【一方的】

～な 1 〔一方にだけ偏っている〕 one-sided; lopsided; unilateral; 【法】 ex parte 《statement》.

●一方的な試合 a one-sided game; a rout

・僕たちは 7 回に一挙 6 点を入れ, 序盤の接戦を一方的なものにした. We poured in 6 runs in the seventh inning and turned what had started as a close game into a rout.

・一方的な勝利 an overwhelming victory; a runaway victory.

2 〔自分の都合だけを考えている〕 unilateral; one-sided.

●それは日本側の一方的な措置だと非難された. It was criticized as a unilateral action on the part of Japan.

●彼の話はあまりにも一方的で腹が立った. I got angry because what he said was so one-sided.

一方的に one-sidedly; unilaterally.
